Is Pregnancy Possible While Suffering From Irregular Periods?
Hi I am having irregular periods.since 14th Jan 17 I am having periods. My doctor prescribed me sandbox regestrone 5mg for 21 days.we are planning for a baby.just want to know will it be any problem to plan a baby. I had a miscarriage 6 months before, since then only my periods in 15 days only.
I totally understand your concerns about your fertility. the following points should be taken into consideration 1- Irregular menses by themselves they are not a reason for infertility, and many patients get pregnant and deliver even though they have irregular cycles. However sometimes it might be more difficult for the couple in such situation to conceive and hence more evaluation will be needed if regular intercourse for more than one year could not result in a pregnancy. 2- You had one previous pregnancy that ended up with a miscarriage. Despite the miscarriage, the fact that you were pregnant is actually a good sign that indicates a higher possibility of getting pregnant again. 3- In your case, i would only recommend regular intercourse every other day for the time being. Best regards
