Is Profuse Sweating, Disorientation And Light Headedness A Matter Of Concern?

HI! The other night, at 4:00am, I awoke to use the restroom. When I got into the restroom and sat down, I started profusely sweating and then felt light headed. I then got up to go back to bed and was disoriented and very dizzy and fell to the ground. If I did pass out, it was not for long. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi. welcome to "Ask A Doctor" service. I have read your question and here is my advice.
Such things may occur without any serious cause howe've it must not be ignored. We always assess such patients in details for any cardiac or neuralogical ( related to brain ) causes for such episodes .Also cheking blood sugar is important. So my advise would be that you should go to the dr as he would take more details and would asess you in more detaiks ,so that we may not miss any serious manageable cause of such epidoes .
Hopes I have answered your question. I will be glad to answer any further question about this.
kind Regards
Dr Rahman.
