What Causes Severe Nausea And Light Headedness Upon Intake Of Dulcolax?
Was prepping for colonoscopy. Had taken 3 Delcolax as directed. Within 2 hours had started experiencing severe nausea, extreme light headedness, and profuse sweating. It took over an hour for all of this to go away. I have canceled the colonoscopy. Any thoughts on why this happened?

Possibly either because you were already on an empty stomach and had nothing in your digestive system which resulted in nothing there to be expelled thus irritating your digestive system with the dulcolax. Anyway, there is nothing to worry about and for the next time we can avoid the laxative.
