Is Prolonged Menstrual Bleeding Normal Post Termination Of Pregnancy?

I got my 1st period 7 wks after obortion. spotted for 2 days, then heavy bleeding for 8 days and again after 1 week of spotting had orgasm with sex.then bleeding started again and this is 5 th day and not stopping. My hcg levels are 11 a week back. Is this normal

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Usually its not normal to have bleeding for so long periods of time.
If you had done abortion at home with tablets, it could be a possibility that the abortion is not completed and some bits of the products of conception might still be retained in side the uterus.
I strongly recommend you to consult your gynecologist for internal examination and to get done dilation and curretage to remove all the bits.
