Tried using the 21mg nicotine patch for two days. Had terrible reactions to it. Even though I've used it before with no side effects. Now for weeks since stopping, have lost sensation in shoulder and completely numb. Also feel "electric shock" type feeling when swinging arm under and behind me. Can this be related?
Nicotine may cause localized tingling or loss of sensation at site of application of patch. But these effect last for few days only, after removal of patch. There is need to investigate your case to find out other causes for numbness and electric shock feeling in shoulder.
Other possible causes are: -Stress and anxiety -Nicotine withdrawal -Vitamin deficiency -Neurological problem
