Is Racing Pulse In Hypothyroid Patient A Symptom Of Heart Problem?

Hi, How do you do? I am Annie, I have bloodpreasure problem and taking medication, recently I discovered that my pulse is 122 and it is going on a very long time. I do have hypothyroidism and the blood test show my TSH, T2 T3 absolutely normal. My mother died recently in heart disease but I never had a heart problem, what is wrong with me if my pulse, my heart racing all the time?

Hello, hypothyroid doesn't cause high heart rate but it can cause lower heart rate. If u r having persistent tachycardia, get done ecg and we will see what to do. All d best!
