Is Radiation Therapy Safe To Remove Hemangioma Behind Eye?

my husband has a hemingeoma behind right eye which is pressing against optic nerve causing double vision. tumor cannot be removed surgically as it is vascular in nature and totally encapsulated in the carodic artery. Radiation is only option and I am told there are only 40 or so known cases in the world. We have been advised to get another opinion but since there is no data behind it...not sure what to do.

Radiation is the only answer, but it will effect vision. what is vision of other eye. If diplopia is the only problem then vision of that eye can be blocked by fogging glass So you can think of pros and con of treatment. Discus with other doctor and take a decision
