Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my husband 74 yrs. recently was hospitalized for fluid around the lung and heart out of rhythm. they removed the fluid and shocked his heart back, put him on rampril and sotalol and his bp is running around 85/48 and pulse 50. He is dizzy and very weak . He has decided not to take the rampril until his doctor appt. wed.
His symptoms are due to low bp. looking at his current vital parameters bp and pulse i would suggest you to take him to hospital at the earliest not advisable to wait till wednesday. he might require inotropic drugs and temporary pacing after further evalutaion at hospital by cardiologist
