Is Raspa Procedure Advisable While Undergoing Severe Vaginal Bleeding?
Good day! is it possible for a single woman to have raspa? what might be the implication of this to her health? what are the causes of too much bleeding? How will i know that i need to undergo the procedure? Please enlighten me about this matter. Thank you!
Hi It sure is possible for single women to undergo raspa which is dilatation and curettage. A little sample of uterine inner lining is taken in this procedure to find out what abnormality is present in the uterus. Too much bleeding can b caused by just familial or pathological with systemic conditions like thyroid disease or local diseases of uterus like fibroid or more sinster like cancer. A thorough work up including, blood investigations, ultrasound and raspa s done to evaluate the cause. Hope this helps.
