Is Restitching Needed For Opened Stitches Post Cyst Removal From Groin?
My husband had a cyst removed i the groin area he had 15 stitches. The area is moist and looks like it s split wide open again. He said it smells and upon looking at it tonight it looks like an open wound between his left leg and the groin area. It looks like it needs to be restiched.

Thank you for following up. It seems he has infected wound, please apply 1% chloramphenicol 2 times daily and get him examined to a surgeon. It can be some complication after cyst removal. Your doctor might prescibe him general antibiotic also(ofloxacin or other).
