Is Rheumatoid Arthritis ,related With Painful And Swollen Kuncles?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... The knuckle on the ring finger of my left hand (right above where a ring would set) is swollen and painful. I removed my ring because I developed a rash under it. I am 48 years old. Could this be RA? It is the only knuckle that hurts
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have swollen knuckle on ring finger .You have asked that is it rheumatoid arthritis . It is not rheumatoid arthritis as it single knuckle which is involved. You can take analgesic such as diclofenac to relieve pain. You should get x-ray of it done to know cause of swelling. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
