Is Severe Abdominal Pain, With History Of Necrotizing Pancreatitis Anything Serious?
Hi...I have been passing a jelly like mucus for a couple days now with no stool. I can see that my abdomen is bloated along with severe abdominal pain. I have had three abdominal surgeries since Jan 2014 with the most recent Nov 2015. I have had my Pancreas removed, Gallbladder removed, Common Bile duct removed and reconstructed twice and finally my Spleen infarcted to basically nothing. All of this stems from Necrotizing Pancreatitis. With my current symptoms and past history should I be concerned?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, it the sign of protozoa infection it can be managed with Tab Metronidazole 400 mg twice in day for five days the treatment is on tentative basis, some time such symptoms could be nonspecific one, for abdomen pain Tab Dicyclomine can be tried hope this information helps.
