Is Severe Nausea, headache And Shortness Of Breath Indications Of Heart Disease?
Hopefully! My Mom went into hospital with severe nausea, headache and shortness of breath. It has been 30 days.During this time she has been misdiagnosed many time and ended up on a breathing tube at which time they decided it was her heart. She is being treated with heart medications but the nausea is still present? Not bad like when I brought her in but it prevents her from eating? Is this the heart? wrong medication?
Dear I can understand your concern .breathlessness is the main symptoms of heart failure . It may or may not be associated with nauseavomiting and headache..as you have mentioned she was put on breathing tube this means it was something serious . She was not able to breath properly so this support was given to her..now she has persistent nausea ..It may be because of medication or because of any problem of liver , electrolyte imbalance or because of heart failure..We need to ask few more questions and complete examination is required to reach the diagnosis . You should continue the medication and if nausea persist then discuss with your physician . If he think it is because of heart failure he will increase the dose of few medicines or if it is because of causes in stomach then he can change some.dont take any decision by your self.hope this will help.
