Is Severe Pain In Lower Abdomen Due To Ovarian Cysts?
Sharp pain lower left abdominal area (like appendicitis-ish but other side) This was reported back in August. Lab test showed extreme low B-12 (54 out of 1000) so low energy... But given shots for it. Then monthly bouts of vomitting with increased length of nausea each time (starting Sept 19, then Oct 15, then Nov 28.) This latest vomitting and nausea accompanied with diarrhea. Oh, and ultra sound last month came back with 2 small ovarian cysts...
Persistent nausea and vomiting may be due to : (1) liver disease (2)gallbladder disease (3) side effect of medication (4)obstruction of the bowel (5)infections (6)abnormal levels of electrolytes eg high calcium (7)reflux (8)cancer of the gi tract or brain (9)migraines
These are some possible causes
The ultrasound would have likely taken a look at the liver, gallbladder and kidneys. Further imaging of the GI tract and brain may also be needed.
Blood tests may also be needed to rule out infection , along with a stool analysis since you also now have diarrhea.
I hope this helps
