Is Severe Pain In Upper Arm And Shoulder Due To Bursitis?

I tripped down the stairs over a week ago landed on my left elbow with left knee folded under and strained my left ankle.also now have a very sore right shoulder and upper arm that is very achy and painful.Is it possible I have bursitis.it feels better it I take ibuprofen 6 hrly. Been 2 full days of the pain and it comes back if I stop the meds.bernice

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the fall injury and respond partially to the treatment then it may require x-ray study to rule out the internal injury like fracture and soft tissue injury, till then NSIAD can be tried (It may not be bursitis ) hope this information helps.
