Is Shoulder Pain A Symptom Of Any Type Of Cancer?
I have pain in my left shoulder on the back side. I woke up with it on Monday. I ve tried heating pad but that doesn t help. I have an appointment with my dr tomorrow but was wondering what it could possibly be. I am scared because My father died of cancer , my grandparents on both sides had cancer and my daughter had lymphoma in 2009 and died of cervical cancer in 2014. Can you possibly give me an idea at what to expect.

In very rare causes pain in the shoulder may be a symptom of lung cancer. You have a family history and I suggest to do Ct scan to evaluate your condition. Most cases of shoulder pain are muscle strain arthritis etc.
