Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic
Skinlite cream contains a combination of tretinoin,
hydroquinone and mometasone. This is a gold standard combination for hyperpigmentary conditions on face. It is prescribed by dermatologists for melasma/
hyperpigmentation on face and in any case should never be used for more than 2-3 months at a stretch.
However, it should never be used OTC and only be used if prescribed by a dermatologist.
Indiscriminate use and over use, for more than 2-3 months, of this combination is associated with serious side effects like like acne, skin thinning,
telangiectasis, sun sensitivity/
photosensitivity, facial hair growth/hirsutism (specially troublesome in females) etc.
A skin lightening cream containing one or more of the following skin lightening ingredients e.g kojic acid,
glycolic acid, arbutin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, liquorice etc are safer even if used over a longer period of time.
You should use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UV B as well as UV A protection, throughout the day.
I would suggest that you see a dermatologist before using skinlite cream. Your Dermatologist would know the best for you.
