Is Slight Discomfort In Vagina Post Intercourse A Cause For Concern?

I am a 20 year old girl. 3 weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time and even though he was slow and careful, it hurt me down there and I think I was anxious and not wet enough. I did not bleed either. I still have slight discomfort in the vagina, very slight pain when i sit. I have no other issues. Should I be worried?

Hi..
Welcome to HCM..
thanks for the query..
I could be because of you having intercourse for the first time..
nothing to worry..
if the pain is severe you can take a pain killer or you can do hot compresses over the back area..
flow of hot water around the area of pain gives you relief..
or you can do sitz bath...
if the pain is still persisting you can consult the doctor for evaluation..
Hope this information helps you.. take care.
