Is Small Knot On Sides Of Groin In A Child Concerning?

My two year old son has a small not on the left and right side of his upper groin area. I asked about it when he was very small and there was no concern. i believe they are lymph nodes but one is much larger than the other right now. he does have a cold. does this sound something i should be concerned about?

Hai,

It seems to be Undescended testicles( cryptorchidism).
If your son is a premature baby than possibility of above condition is high chance.

Without any infection possibilty of both side lymph node enlargement is questionable one.but still reactive lymph node enlargement can be there.
but in your case it is different.

I Suggest to take your child to a near by pediatrician examine him and take ultrasound to rule out.

i hope i clarified your query

thank you
