Also, the size matters, and your age too.
With menopause they generally shrink if small in size relatively.
Regarding the follicles, this could be PCOS -
polycystic ovarian syndrome.
It is characterized by multiple small cyst like follicles present on both the ovaries.
There is baseline hormonal imbalance.
Periods are liable to be irregular and ovulation maybe erratic.
Also, conception might be a difficulty.
If this is just
ultrasound finding, and you have none of the symptoms, do not read much into the report.
You might need Metformin to regulate cycles.
Clomiphene is often required to stimulate ovarian follicular development.
Weight loss and daily exercise often help.
