Is Smoking Safe While On Antibiotics For UTI?

I recently got report of urine test n seems like i have UTI so now my question is i have already planned a trip to kasol i wont take alcohol and i am not a chain smoker i smoke like once in a month so i want to know can i smoke while on antibiotics over there? Please reply

Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.

Smoking is never safe and has its known negative side effects however you probably wanted to ask if smoking is contraindicated in cases when antibiotics are taken. The answer is no, and it means that it can be taken and it wont have any negative effect on antibiotic efficienty or cause some interactions. SO you can smoke with no fear about this. As a doctor I must , of course repeat that smoking had other disadvantages for your health.
