Is Sore Throat, Swollen Glands And Popping Ears With History Of Having Sinus And Ear Infection Serious?

I have a history of sinus and ear infections. Currently I have a sore throat, swollen glands, some congestion and my ears are starting to pop like they are filling with fluid. Should I make a doctors appointment or should I just wait and get some rest?
