my doctor found an unchanged posterior tongue spongy raised papillary lesion after 6 weeks. risks are hpv smoking alcohol. he suggests removal in 3 months. he is an ent surgeon. age 62. Does he seem concerned re squamous cell ca if waiting 3 months to operate?
