Is Stomach Bloating And Cramps After A Procedure On Lungs Dangerous?
I have an operations recently - puenomonia. The doctor drain the fluids from my lungs thru chest tubes. After three weeks, i have abdominal cramps. The left side of my stomach feels tightening, cramps and a bit bloated. I felt that it is due to the tube that the doctors have inserted have taken out from my lungs. what shall i do? is that dangerous? what kind of treatment will the doctors do with this. Please help.
Chest tube drain inserted into the pleural cavity it won't cause abdominal distension. If it is tuberculous pleural effusion with abdominal spread may cause distension. Or it may be due to acute gastritis, or gastroenteritis, or food Intolerance may cause distension. Please consult your treating doctor he will take a chest x-ray and abdomen scan and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
