Is Strong Pulsating Sensation In The Flank Area A Matter Of Concern?

I had a nephropexy procedure done a few years ago and recently have been getting right flank pain. My doctor just put in a right ureter stent because scan showed it was kinked, over the last few days I have been getting a strong pulsating sensation in my right flank area, my doctor is out of town for a few days. Should I be concerned? I did have nephroptosis which was the reason for the nephropexy.

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
Yes, you should definitely consult doctor and get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule seen position of Stent.
Strong Pulsating sensations are mostly due to malposition or displaced Stent.
So get done ultrasound examination.
If Stent is in normal position then nothing to be worried.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
