Is Sudden Eliquis Withdrawal Safe?

I had a pulmonary embolism in October it was I guess provoked due to birth control a procedure the day before and becoming more sedimentary after having my child in July. Took Eliquis now they’re telling me to go off without any genetic testing or anything. Is there a high risk for me getting another clot.
