Is Sudden Withdrawal From Smoking And Alcoholism Advisable In A COPD Patient?
I have recently been diagnosed with COPD! I have just quit smoking yesterday and wonder if I should have reduced rather than suddenly stop? I used to drink as well and have stopped this yesterday too! I did however reduce and need some more diet advise as I am a very poor balanced eater
quitting smoking is very important in COPD. we prescribe nicotine gum intially to control nicotine withdrawal symptoms .Alcohol detoxification under psychiatrist or physician should be started .
