Is Suddenly Seeing Sparkly Lights (eye Floaters) A Cause Of Concern?

I put my head down for a second, because I was feeling tired and I look back up and I see specks of sparkly lights. Everywhere I would look, I would see them. This was the first time I ve seen something like that in my life and I saw them for 4-5 seconds. Upon research, I discovered that these are called eye floaters. It s been 10 hours and hasn t occurred again. Should this be a cause for concern?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
No floaters are common and are because of changes in the gel inside the eye and flashes are seen when there is sudden jerk in these movements. If there are sudden increase in numbers along with large dark areas or curtain like shadow then you need to consult ophthalmologist
