i have a large tear of the body and posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Communicating with the posterior medial margins of the tear is a moderate sized multilocular parameniscal cyst measuring 2.3 x 2x 1.5 cm lateral meniscus is intacy do you think i need surgery
You need arthroscopic surgery for meniscus tear and needle aspiration for cyst. It is a very small surgery and patient can walk after 1 day. There is no need for bed rest . Only one or two stitches are applied.
