Is Surgery Recommended For Cataract Formation In Both Eyes?
Hi I m 62 years old Female, I d a cataract on my left eyes ( in the center of my lens ) I m consider to have a surgery only on my eyes, my right eyes also had cataract but very min. but not so sure how it will effect my eyes sight if I only had one done. I m far sight on both eyes, wear glasses 24/7 pls. adv.Thanks Lek

Dear Mam,Cataract surgery is done only when the cataract is matured and that can be determined by detailed examination by an eye surgeon,If surgeon has suggested for surgery in one eye then you should go ahead for that and wait for the other eye cataract to mature,till then you can wear spectacles for correction of eye sight.
