Is Surgery Required In Case Of Missing Discs In Lumbar Spine Or A Curved Spine?

I have been diagnosed with several things going on in my spine. #1-I am missing 5 discs in my lumbar spine. I was told that I am bone on bone and there is degeneration goingin all 5 areas. #2-My spine has curved, my thoracic spine in on direction and my lumber in another. #3-I was just diagnosed with osteopenia. I have gotten several conflicting opinions. Do you think that surgery is necessary? Thank you.
