Is Surgery Required To Correct Displaced Knee With Lateral Tibial Plateau Fracture?

Hello, 14 days ago I slipped and had a fall, landing on my right knee. The impact caused severe pain and major effusion to right knee. I walked on it for a bit to get home and the pain was severe. Caused me to sweat profusely. I went to GP after 3 days. Xray revealed a lateral tibial plateau fracture. ( Schatzker I). Displaced by 2mm. I then slipped on crutches landing directly on right foot, jarring knee and causing intense pain. CT revealed another 1.5mm of displacement. Will I need surgery to correct?
