Is Swollen And Painful Foot The Cause For Excruciating Headaches?
hi i am experiencing an excruciating headache. I have been for about four days now. I had a total ankle arthrodesis surgery about 7 years ago and my foot has been swollen and painful. Is my headache related to that? Could there be anything else as well that might be going on?
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Inflammation anywhere in the body secretes cytokines and interleukin that cause headache and whole body aches. As you have swollen foot it has caused all this. However if your headache was more in the morning, it was associated with projectile vomiting or seizures then rush to ER. Hope it helps best. Take your best care.
