Is Taking Cortisone Injection Right Treatment For Cyst And Tear In Hip Bone?

Ihave alot of pain in my right hip, lhave cysts on my hip bone,cartilage worn out, a tear, & fracture, lam in alot of pain finding it hard to walk,my specialist has recommended a cryisone injection, as he says lm to young to have a hip replacement, lam 55, he has told me that l can have 3 -4 injections a year, but lm just not sure, what do you think, would. Love you advise,

I really appreciate your concern, if the pain is the only matter of concern and not the cure then it can be managed with any analgesic but important is to bear the pain as long as you could instead of looking for any potent analgesic, but better to try to cure the underlying disease of bone, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
