I am taking tegretol 200 mg twice a day for the past 15 years for epilepcy. Now a days I am also sufferin from high Blood pressure which reaches upto 90-150. Can I take my blood pressure medice (coversyl 2mg) with tegretol. My age is 44 years and gender is male. Five years back I have tried to stop my tegretol medicine on doctor dvice but epilepcy attack re-occurs so I again started tegretol medicine. My second question is how long can I take tegretol because I am already taking it for the past 15 years.
HI Well come to HCM I understand your concern you can take the anti-epileptic medicine (Tegretol) and anti-hypertensive drug (Coversyl) together this would not interact with each other badly, you have to take antiepileptic medicine till the natural remission occurs, hope this information helps, take care.
