Hello Doctor ,.I had to get my periods today as I had to travel to long distance ..Today is my actual date . So I just consulted the Doctor, and she said there is no tablet to get the periods immediately ..But she gave the tablet for postponing of period Meprate 10mg ... Can I go ahead with the same tablet ? Even if i get periods today is fine ..But not tomorrow..and is there a a side effects of cancer as i am having tightening of breast just before 10 days every month . If you can reply meon immediate it would be very grateful..
As your doctor suggested,it is not possible to prepone menstruation or postpone menstrual bleeding with drugs once it has started. You can start tablet Meprate immediately.Ideally inorder to postpone periods, the drug is taken 4 to 5 days before the date of expected periods. You need not worry about cancer while taking very short course of drugs.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
