Is Taking Nexium Safe For Stomach Pain?

Have stomach pain and discomfort from what I believe was caused by Naproxen, 500mg I was taking for some leg pain. My wife has some left over Nexium 40mg which she took to treat an ulcer Do you think it would be wise if I tried the Newium? Thank you.

Nexium is acidity reducing agent, it will be helpful if you have drug induced gastritis. Which naproxen can cause.
