Is Taking Regestrone Safe For Heavy Vaginal Bleeding Caused After Using Copper T?
I inserted copper t on 28th Dec 2015 after 13 years my son is 13 now but my body did nt except it I starting bleeding so I removed it on 15 Jan 2016 after 15 days but still bleeding dr prescribed me Tranaxa mf for 3 days but still bleeding then my gyro gave me regestrone tablet 5 mg twice for 20 days is it ok as I have hyper acidity and when my body will be back to normal pl help thanx

Hi, Thank you for asking. I understand your concern. In case bleeding due to CU T is not controlled after it's removal/ Tranexa..Regestrone is beast option to control the bleeding. Please continue with the course.If you have acidity problem you can take tablet Ranitidine twice a day.. / have mild food/ avoid spicy food, tea, coffee, fasting. You have to consider another suitable form of contraceptive in future with your doctor's advise ( Cu T with inbuilt hormone which prevents excessive bleeding/ oral contraceptive ) Thanks.
