Is Taking Requip With Diazepam Advisable To Treat Spasticity In Leg?

I am a Hereditary Spastic Paraplegic linked to chromosomes 2p, 14q and 15q. I have leg spasms when I am at rest and at night. I take 2mg of Ropinrole (Requip) with a 12 hr, half life before bed time but it dosen t work well anymore.Can I add Diazepam to help with the spasticity and help me to sleep better.I am 71 years old and in good health, but am not able to ambulate and use an electric cart.

I really appreciate your concern, Benzodiazepine is not advisable, but better to see the doctor because what the medical condition you have it is better to get done the clinical examination on regular basis hope this information helps.
