Is The Effect Of Tylenol, Codeine And Hydrocodone Same?
I was recently prescribed a medication (TV/150) (3) on the other. 30 mg of codeine, 300mg of tylenol. Before I was prescribed 1 1/2 Hydrocodone 10mg, (15mg). Will the effect of the medicines be similiar or exactly the same and if not, what would be the difference?? Thanks

Both Codeiine and Hydrocodone are opiods. Codeine is a natural alkaloid whereas hydro codeine is a synthetic one.
Each will have different strengths and side effects, but hydro is much stronger. It can also be tagged with other fever drugs like acetaminophen unlike codeine. Abuse forming potential is also high for these drugs, more so for Hydro codone.
