Is The Following Fecalysis Report Positive For Amoebiasis?
Hi doc, my niece is 2 yrs old and had his fecalysis result today with yellowish brown color, mucoid consistency, entamoeba hystolica of 1-4/hpf, troph 0-2/hpf and with 1-2/hpf pus cells. Is he positive in amoeba? His body twmp is 37.2. Thank you in advance..

Your stool report shows the presence of Entamoeba histolytica parasite. Clinical correlation needed in child case.
