I just did a Liver profile blood test and the results were as follows:
Bilirubin, total - 0.5 (refereal range is 0.0-1.0)
SGPT - 70 (refereal range 30-65)
SGOT - 30 (refereal range 15-37)
Also TSH is showing 7.07
CAN YOU PLEASE EXPLAIN THESE TEST RESULTS
Hi! welcome to HCM! Your serum bilirubin,SGOT are normal while SGPT and TSH is high.SGOT and SGPT are two of the most useful measures of liver cell injury, although the SGPT is more liver specific.Lesser degrees of SGPT level elevation may be seen in skeletal muscle injury or even after vigorous exercise. The upper limit of normal SGPT is(35-40 IU/L). High TSH means hypothyroidism you will need to take medication for this, after your thyroid profile is done.Take care
