Is The Overwhelming Peppery Taste/smell Due To The Large Sliding Hiatal Hernia ?

I have been diagnosed with a rather large sliding hiatal hernia. I have this overwhelming bitter taste. It sometimes taste peppery and I ve been told that I smell peppery on occassion. What would cause the overwhelming peppery taste/smell? Is it possible that it is seeping through my pores?

Hi and welcome to HCM,

This unpleasant taste smell due to haital hernia only. It always cause GERD. Seeping through pores may occur. Continue medicines as prescribed by your doctor.
