Is The Pain In Upper Left Arm Around The Belly Spreading To Neck And Shoulders Be Diabetic Related?

I am type 1 diabetic with poor control due to diabulimia for several months I have had severe vice like pain in my upper left arm, particularly around the belly of my biceps. The pain has now spread to my neck and shoulder. Is this likely to be diabetes related?

Hi
welcome to our site

read your query
that is a very significant question
and i appreciate your problem

i will try my best to answer your query

diabetics are very prone to silent cardiac disease
where the other features of cardiac disease present themselves
but no chest pain

the other features of heart attack
are breathlessness
radiation of pain to left arm
radiation of pain to jaw
radiation of pain to upper abdomen

i would seriously suggest that you get yourself
a ct angiograohy, if not coronary angiography

if these turn out to be normal
then we can possibly think of other possibilities

i hope this helps you
inform the reports mentioned above (if any)
so i can be of help further
best of luck

I have given you the answer to the maximum
Considering the information provided.
The results of the tests could further
enhance my answer to you

please do understand that some details
could be extracted from a detailed
history and examination
