hello doctor.. my mother is bleeding (low) everyday. she is 47 years old. She has gone through transvaginal sonography and the results are as follows:
partial loss of endomyointerphase in fundal and body region with endometrial hyperplasia - ? Adenomyosis
and
large left ovary with cystic lesion.
doctor has precribed her cycloreg for 10 days to stop her periods and they to get a piece from her body dont know which piece so that they can examine her?
is my mom suffering from any serious problem? becasue doctor has asked her to get her uterus removed as soon as possible.

Hi, thanks for using HCM.

Continous bleed at menopausal age group is not normal. Chances of endometrial problem are common. Your doctor will take a biopsy(piece) from endometrium for study to rule out malignancy.
With endometrial hyperplasia risk of developing cancer are more, so better to get evaluated.

Regards
