Is The Severe Cough In A 91 Year Old Be Due To Sinusitis Or GERD?
My mother is 91 and has had a cough for months- - some Drs. say it is sinuses others say it is GERD. had x ray --OK and ,any other things but nothing has solved the problem. Also, want to know where a good FULL time geriatrics dedicated DR is at to take her to because no Drs. in the Horry Co. area of SC seems to care or listen to me and her.
Cough in a 91 year old patient might be due to Sinusitis or GERD both or there might be any third pathology. Proper history and detailed investigation will help us to reach on final conclusion. Visit your nearest doctor. I wish her speedy recovery.
Regards!
