Chest PA -examination shows fibriotic infiltrates at the right upper lung. -the rest of the lung field is clear. -heart is not enlarge. -Bony thorax is intact. -mediastinum, diaphragms, sulcu are normal. -other chest structures are not remarkable. Impression -pulmonary Koch s infiltrates, right upper lung field. -suggest follow-up. Does this result is TB positive?
Any patient with infiltrates in upper lobe of lung must be evaluated for TB. It is important to know if you have fever, cough or weight loss for last two months. Any lymph node swelling must also be evaluated. You need to consult a pulmonologist and get further testing done.
