Is There A Possibility For The Cochler Implant For A 2 Year Old Child?

sir, My baby is 2 year old. she was suffering from Meningitis after 6 days of birth. After one month her BERA Test has been done for hearing. The report was O.K. After one year her BERA Test again done and the report is presumably cochlear defect suggesting profound sensorineural hearing impairment. As per the advice of doctor my baby is using hearing aid and responding well. Can you suggest me is it possibility for the cochler Implant if the baby is responding well and also my baby can listen without hearing aid in future?

,If child is responding well to hearing aid ,cochlear implant is not required.as cochlear implant is last resort.cochlear implant is I dicated if no other option is left. As hearing is sensorineural loss no chance child can be off of the hearing aid
