Is There A Test To Determine If I Am Healed From Erosive Gastritis?
I have been diagnosed with erosive gastritis almost two years ago and have been taking colestipol , omeprazole since. How do I know if I am healed? I don t want to take medications that I don t need but don t want to cause more damage if I stop taking them. Is there a test to determine if healed? I don t want long term damage but don t want long term damage from long term drug use!

To get to know if you are completely healed from erosive gastritis, upper endoscopy testing is the most appropriate diagnostic test.
Improvement of clinical symptoms are also important to determine whether you need treatment of not.
