I had a surgical abortion on August 11th and began taking NUVARING on August 15th I had unprotected sex first week of september. I am about to put another ring in but i took a pregnancy test and it shows positive, is that still because i have levels in my bodY

Failure and accidental pregnancies can occur with nuvaring even though they are rare. You can go for a serial beta hCG level on three consecutive days and check whether they are rising or not. A rising trend of hCG indicates pregnancy. You can also go for an ultrasound to look for any retained tissues after abortion which may cause a false positive results.
